Dick move from the old man but then again no harm no foul. We mainly have gold mines here and platinum it seems worlds apart from coal mining. Good to see that mining even then was still highly paid. Maybe it is not so much money if you actually have other mouths to feed and there is always the risk. I wonder what happens on day two, maybe some revenge on the old man :) Nice photos also, they look original.

When I saw the thumbnail for the video in the replies section, I knew it was Jimmy Dean and Big John, lol. Great song it was. Jimmy Dean was a pretty big star, had his own show, hit songs, and he quit all that and started making sausage. Weird.
I'm hoping to get day 2 out later today.
