I heard the chopper's drone, but my camera was on the macro setting. Had no time to change and just took the shot!
Some sky and earth photos here for you today. I have to tell you that we suffer loadshedding, (power cuts) here in South Africa 3 times a day and it makes communications very difficult.
Nevertheless, South Africans are hardy people and we don't lay down easily.

We have been troubled by some stormy winds in the last while and there is also flooding in some parts of the country.
Moving at high speed against the wind, then he dived and was gone!

This little guy looks like he has been to a rave Lol.
The Pied crow is the local car guard here!

Oh yes, South Africa is a beautiful country with some kind and friendly people, but and there's always a but, there is a huge crime element present. Syndicates, rogue cops, corrupted politicians, sound familiar?
We note that many countries across the world suffer these illnesses. But with a new president here, a clean up is in progress and let's hope sanity can be restored.

I agree about the politicians but there has to be good and Godly people who care more about the country than themselves, maybe those kind just never get into politics.

No one is prepared to get mixed up in the dirty world of politics and one cannot blame them.
No, I hate politics, it's such a nasty game! But, I'm involved these days because I realized that it's the only way things get done.
