Pretending to be someone is not bad nor good. It's hard to understand what is right when there are things you should consider. Making others happy or making yourself happy. But because society is the centre of everything. We choose to be that person even though it doesn't make us happy. Pleasing others' thoughts is part important. We are not obliged but somehow we thought it is.

An actor impersonating a certain character in a movie. A professional person acting decently because it should be in the ideas of the people. A teacher wearing a fully-covered dress because it's on their ethics. There are too many personalities acting or showing a different side of them. We thought that the words of others are not needed. But when we are alone, flashing back the words of others. We couldn't help it but rather be affected by it. The truth is, the words of others hurting us.

That's the reason why we are trying to be that person even though we are not. We chose to smile at stupid jokes even though we don't find them funny. We forced ourselves to smile because it's part of our job. Even though deep inside we are crying. It feels like we don't have a choice because we are hoping to please them. It's part of our job or part of our daily lives to make people treat us well. We are not an actor on a big screen but it feels like we don't have a choice. It's our own lives but as if someone is doing it on our behalf. I know it's very tiring but do we have the courage to be that person we want to be?

The time will come when we feel tired. We want to stop the act and be ourselves. We want to show them this is us. This is the real us who wanted them to meet for a long time. But it's not easy because again, judging eyes look bad on us. They thought we changed, we became crazy. But all they thought were wrong. They never tried to understand us or know the whole story of us. It's hard to tell them the reasons why we chose to be like this. They refused to admit it because they never give us a chance to tell them. If they just let us explain first before criticising our behaviours. Perhaps they will understand why sudden changes happened.

All of us are selfish in so many ways. We want to tell them something but they don't give us the chance to listen to what we're trying to say. They will think we're just being ridiculous or absurd. They will think about what we've been doing were just a part of our acts. Until we reached the peak and decided to let it go.

We should understand that all our acts have an ending. We can't always be like that because when the time comes we will lose interest in living in this world. We will think what's the reason for living if we are not happy with this kind of life. What's the meaning of our existence when we can't do what we want to do. Don't wait for it to come or it will be too late. That's why the best thing to do is to free ourselves. We don't need to ignore the words of others but should understand them in a different meaning. If they will try to bad-mouthed us, just smile at them. Let them think about what they are thinking about us because it's our own lives.

Don't forget that no one can save us but only ourselves. They may criticise us but they're not doing something to help us. What's the reason for listening to them. They were not there when we wanted companies. They ignored us when we were asking for their help. Instead of minding their words, focus on yourself only. Think of how we can deal with our own life. Nothing can make us happier by freeing ourselves. We are responsible for our own lives after all.
