A Haiku poem - by Meditations

Cresent moon in sky
like cookie cut from God's hand
with stars as sprinkles

I found this old Haiku poem on my phone. it was something I wrote years ago, back when I wrote haikus on whatever scrap of paper was in reach at the time. I've nothing much to say about it. It speaks for itself. But I wanted to at least post it so others might get something out of it.

I love writing Haikus because they're simple yet complex.

For how someone can create this small creative nugget out of limitless inspiration and leave anywhere for anyone to find.

Their doses of stress relief stacked neatly (in most cases) inside a frame of constraints.

They're an homage to Japanese literature dated back to the 17th century.

They sum up massive thoughts in minutes ways.

They can be recited in a single breath or

contemplated for hours over tea

or shared with communities

.

Have a good night Hive.
