Cyprus, handmade dolls - part 2

A few more photos of handmade dolls, the sister of my late husband.

Of course, this is a small part of her collection.
There are over 100 dolls in her collection.
And I think that it will not be limited to this amount :-)))
Her husband had already begun to quietly express dissatisfaction.
She told me: "Ludmila, I'm so interested in coming up with different styles of dresses that I can't stop. Don't laugh and don't mistake me for being abnormal. You yourself are full of cacti."
And we laughed together with her!
As I understand it!

We had a good time with her over a cup of coffee, and I went home with 1 doll as a gift.

The photos I were taken with a Lenovo TAB 2 A10-70L tablet

Hours of work to dress dolls like this, I see many are crocheted and knitted dresses.

My Mom only sewed and stitched dolls into traditional clothing of different regions. when not making our own clothing. Working to miniature sizes took time, precision to obtain the right look and feel on each one, each a masterpiece.

Not having an interest in sewing nor dolls even as a young girl I don't have any, my sister has kept some, and most were donated to orphanages where children seldom got given toys when we were growing up.

Thanks for sharing this brought back memories of neatly dressed dolls @ludmila.kynakou
