The following photographic series is about a curious and beautiful bush that I found and had the opportunity to capture, it is a Mimosa distachya or commonly named as Acacia Plumosa. In this shot I tried to get as close as I could and make a macro to capture its form of flowering.

En esta toma trate de acercarme los mas que pude y hacerle una macro para poder captar su forma de floracion.}

It is a shrub that can measure up to half a meter high and usually grows in almost any type of terrain, it blooms in winter and its flowers grow in tubular bouquets, its colors vary depending on the species and range from white, pink, violet, yellow and red.

^{Es un arbusto que llega a medir hasta medio metro de alto y suele crecer casi en cualquier tipo de terreno, florece en invierno y sus flores crecen en ramilletes en forma tubular, sus colores varían dependiendo la especie y van desde los blancos, rosas, violetas, amarillos y rojos.}

The clusters of its flowers grow on the sides of the branches and in a tubular shape, small buds are grouped and from them the tiny flowers emerge that in this case come out of pale pink color that with the passage of days they become a more intense pink. Its thin branches are equipped with dangerous thorns that resemble the claws of a feline, for this characteristic they also call it, claw of cat.

Sus delgadas ramas estan dotadas de peligrosas espinas que semejan a las garras de un felino, por esta caracteristica tambien le llaman, uña de gato.}

The tiny and showy five-petal flowers are full of long and thin pistils that are endowed with pollen at the tip, thanks to these long pistils they obtain a fluffy and soft appearance, their leaves also grow in clusters and have a bright green color, the Flower petals have a faint yellowish color and their pistils, as mentioned before, have a pale color, which with the passing of days acquires a greater hue.

^{Las diminutas y vistosas flores de cinco petalos estan llenas de largos y delgados pistilos que estan dotados en la punta de polen, gracias a estos largos pistilos obtienen una apariencia esponjosa y suave, sus hojas crecen igualmente en racimos y tienen un color verde brillante, los petalos de las flores tienen un color amarillento tenue y sus pistilos como mencione antes tienen un color pálido qué con el paso de los días va adquierendo una mayor tonalidad.}

Its branches are thin and long and from its sides both the clusters of flowers, leaves and small thorns are born, which are very pointed and sharp, the dangerous thorns grow contrary to the branch, that is to say that its tip is curved down , helping with it to tear whatever gets caught in them, if they exert force when trying to free themselves, or if someone tries to take a branch and pull it, their thorns will dig in with force and they will tear whatever they find to their passed.

^{Sus ramas son delgadas y largas y de sus costados nacen tanto los racimos de las flores, hojas y pequeñas espinas, las cuales estan muy puntiagudas y filosas, las peligrosas espinas crecen al contrario de la rama, es decir que su punta esta curvada hacia abajo, ayudando con ello a desgarrar lo que se logre atorar en ellas, si es que ejercen fuerza al tratar de liberarse, o si alguien intentara tomar una rama y tirar de ella, sus espinas se clavarán con fuerza y desgararán lo que se encuentren a su paso.}

It is a really colorful shrub, its flowers are beautiful and showy, they are very visited by wasps, bees, bumblebees and even hummingbirds, helping with their visits to pollination of such beautiful and curious flowers.
