[Esp-Eng] Día # 26: Gracias por mi madre || Day # 26: Thanks for my mother

Al crear Dios al mundo y pensar en dejar una obra magnífica para la humanidad, que fuera fiel reflejo de su amor, no pudo tener mejor idea que la creación de las madres.

Ellas son la más viva imagen de lo que significa el amor de Dios, pues así como el corazón de una persona encuentra paz y sentido a su vida al encontrarse con su Ser Superior, así también un niño recién nacido se siente acogido en este mundo al encontrarse con la recepción amorosa de los brazos de su madre, que con cariño y ternura cuida a cada instante de él

When God created the world and thought of leaving a magnificent work for humanity that would be a faithful reflection of his love, he could not have had a better idea than the creation of mothers.

They are the most vivid image of what God's love means, for just as a person's heart finds peace and meaning in his life when he meets his Higher Self, so a newborn child feels welcome in this world when he meets the loving reception of his mother's arms, who lovingly and tenderly cares for him at every moment.

El corazón de una madre, en efecto, es tan inmenso como el cielo y tan profundo como el mar. Es lo más puro y perfecto que existe, ningún otro tipo de amor se le puede igualar.

Su valentía y disposición al acoger un nuevo ser en su vientre y traerlo al mundo, su sacrificio para darle siempre lo mejor, su empatía para comprenderle en la totalidad de su ser, sus esfuerzos por brindarle una buena educación, sus atenciones en cuanto a la salud, son entre otras muchas cosas que fácilmente pueden engrosar esta lista, características propias del amor detallista de una madre.

Luego está el gran reto que ellas asumen de respetar y acompañar la libertad de sus hijos. Pues, aún cuando son suyos, no les pertenecen, ya que también ellos deben tomar su opción de vida, aquello que les dará su plena felicidad, que sí es así, también se convierte en satisfacción para ellas, pues, el cordón umbilical que realmente une a madres e hijos trasciende lo físico y reposa en el terreno emocional y espiritual de su ser.

In fact, the heart of a mother is as immense as the sky and as deep as the sea. It is the purest and perfect thing that exists; no other type of love can be equaled.

Her courage and willingness to welcome a new being in her womb and to bring him into the world, her sacrifice to give him always the best, her empathy to understand him in his entire being, her efforts to give him a good education, her attentions as to health, are among many other things that can easily enlarge this list, which is characteristic of a mother's detailed love.

Then there is the great challenge that they assume to respect and accompany the freedom of their children. For, even when they are hers, they do not belong to her, since they too must make their choice of life, that which will give them their full happiness, which is so, also becomes satisfaction for them, since the umbilical cord that really unites mothers and children transcends the physical and rests in the emotional and spiritual realm of their being.

Hoy doy gracias a la vida por mi madre, por haberme dado ese primer hogar lleno de amor que es su corazón, por los sacrificios que asumió para ayudarme a ser lo que hoy soy y por nunca abandonarme en mi camino, pues, ella sigue siendo todavía hoy mi compañera fiel, dónde siempre puedo encontrar refugio y apoyo para mis metas, propósitos y proyectos.

Le doy gracias, de manera especial, por ser quien es y ser como es, pues, desde esa particularidad me ha dado el más grande regalo que una madre puede dar a su hijo: el amor, que aunque es una palabra y cuatro letras significa mucho, pues, es su tiempo, su paciencia, sus detalles, sus consejos, etc

Today I give thanks to life for my mother, for having given me that first home full of love which is her heart, for the sacrifices she made to help me be what I am today and for never abandoning me on my path, because she is still today my faithful companion, where I can always find refuge and support for my goals, purposes and projects.

I thank her, in a special way, for being who she is and being as she is, because from that particularity she has given me the greatest gift a mother can give to her child: love, which although it is a word and four letters means a lot, because it is her time, her patience, her details, her advice, etc.
