En la ciudad donde vivo, Barquisimeto (Edo. Lara, Venezuela) los cristianos católicos celebramos cada 14 de enero la procesión de la Divina Pastora, una de las más concurridas a nivel mundial.
En este año, por la situación de la Pandemia, ésta no se pudo realizar y en sustitución de ella se hizo una peregrinación virtual, donde desde el día 05 de enero, con una novena de preparación , se invitaba a todos los fieles a seguir cultivando esta devoción y tradición de fe.
Esto es importante porque en todas las religiones existen diversas manifestaciones de fe, las cuales ayudan al fervor de los creyentes. Esto fue lo que paso este año y se demostró como la tradición sigue aunque el modo de participar en ella fuese diferente .
Por otra esta razón, hubo varias familias y pequeños sectores que, para no dejar de vivir este momento, buscaron la manera, y fueron creativos para hacerlo: adornando sus casas, haciendo un altar doméstico, una mini procesión, etc.
