Well it sure has been a while lol! Some of you may remember "way back when" I used to run this weekly music contest. At the time it was called "track of the day". Honestly, I always did it because I loved discovering what other people listened to and increasing my own personal playlist from all the shares, so for that reason - I have decided to kick it off again!

After 7 days I will decide which track I like the most! The winning track selected (by me) will win all the liquid earnings that this post accumulates and the confirmation of funds transfer will be shared in the following round.
HOW TO ENTER
All you have to do is share a link in the comments to a song that you are really enjoying at the moment - whether it is new or old it does not matter and neither does the music genre... whether you have loved it your entire life or just for a day is irrelevant! just NO personal promo links please! And please do not look at MY track genre selection as a guide to what you should or should not share... I have an incredibly eclectic taste in music and will no doubt continue to shock most of you as the weekly rounds unfold haha!

It's a hard choice since there are 3 tracks I've been listening to a lot... and I cannot decide which one is the best. So, this was pretty much a coin toss.
I'll go with Expellow, a Swiss Metalcore band... and the song is Game Insane:

For some reason... this reminds me a LOT of Rage Against the Machine. Just the right balance of "noise" and "composed" sound. Love it!

Nice share! I got to see Collective Soul a Summer or two back. They opened for Sammy Hagar. It was a pretty awesome show. The lead singer is all gray now, but he still had the voice. I will have to see what I can drum up for this challenge in the next week!

I preferred the songs from the original Frozen... But this is growing on me after hearing it every morning!
If I could sing just one measure of this I would be so happy. This is lovely.
They really have got some really great singers for the Frozen songs! We rock out to it in the car every morning... although, I have to say... we don't quite sound quite as good... but at least the girls can hit the high notes!
That opening voice captivated me from 0.01 seconds! Love the LYRICS!!!! (you know, those things that nobody EVER listens to! lol)

I am not religious, but if there was EVER anything I enjoyed about attending church is was the praise and worship singing sessions... there is SO much power in gospel choirs and I swore I always wanted a gospel choir at my wedding! This is fncking amazing!!!

This is probably one of the FEW Queen songs I have NEVER heard!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! He was one of the worlds GREATS!!!!!! How have I never heard this one???? Truly loved that!!!
I heard it for the first time in the movie Bohemian Rhapsody, he sang it for Mary Austin, just beautiful! I also couldn't believe I'd never heard it before the movie - which I saw three times by the way;);)

One of the most beautiful songs in my collection. I'm old school from the 60s, and Jefferson Airplane and Grace is unique. It saddens me that commercialism has taken parts of the lyrics from great songs just to add a snippet to sell their products. This morning I walked by the tv and heard her beautiful voice.
Now I can't get the lyrics to WHITE RABBIT out of my head.
This shall be my topic for the rest of the winter ;)

Dang, lots of really good competition. I know it's a Bob Dylan song, but this cover is what really made me have a new outlook and respect for Miley Cyrus. All of the crazy antics and shenanigans aside, she really has a great voice.
