As a non-religious person, I’ve always loved Sundays. It’s a great day to relax, catch up, and reflect. You’ve still got a few hours left of the work week (or weekend), but you’re not at the end of it yet. There’s time to get ahead for the week ahead.
The only problem with Sundays is that they’re too short. But luckily, they come every week.

Why is Sunday the best day of the week?

You’ve made it through the week. You’ve conquered the bosses, the deadlines, the emails, the meetings, the deadlines, the social commitments, the deadlines, the traffic.
You deserve a day of rest. You’ve earned it.
And Sunday is the perfect day for that.

The days of the week are named after Norse gods, which is why Saturday is the day before the god of the sun - and Sunday is the day after.

There are many theories about why the seventh day of the week is considered a day of rest, but it was likely born out of the idea that people should have a day of leisure in which to worship.

You’ve got the whole day to do whatever you want, and it’s hard to beat that.

• It’s a day full of possibility.
• It’s a day of relaxation, reflection, and renewal.
• It’s a day to be with the people you love.
• It’s a day to do the things you’ve been meaning to do.
• It’s a day that you can feel like a kid again, for a little while.
• It’s the best day of the week.

As it turns out, there are a lot of good reasons Sunday is the best day of the week.

Sunday is a day of rest, so that’s always a plus. If you’re a coffee drinker like me, you’ll be happy to know that there’s a good chance you’ll get your caffeine fix in the morning. And if you have a little bit of extra time on your hands, there are plenty of hobbies (and Netflix binges) you can get into.
But the best part about Sunday is that it makes Mondays a little better.
