I love super heroes and I am somehow inclined towards the dark ones, like Batman. He does defend the weak and vulnerable, but his emthods may be morally questionable. He does not have the moral qualities of a Superman, but maybe that can be a strength, since sometimes the bad guys take advantage of the hero's goodness.

So, I thought if I were to become a super heroine, it would be more of a Justiciera.

Zafer would be my badass alter-ego. A girl with the amazing power to heal any pain or disease. She can also inflict pain and suffering to those who had crossed the line. She takes a tooth for a tooth, an eye for an eye, a life for a life...

Like most superheroes, I got my powers after being exposed to thousands of chemicals that turned my body into a massive storage of every compound known to mankind. I can process, isolate, and administer the right amount of chemicals to heal or kill in any way imaginable. With every element in my system, I would be invincible. I would be able to become any material as needed and self-heal or regenerate.

Concept Art Process

I worked several concepts for this justiciera. Some of them were discarded at an early stage; others at later stages.

It was too nice, too simple. It lacked the complexity of the personality and powers I wanted to personify.
So I settled for this one

I wanted it to look more agressive, intimidating, even.

As I developed the image I thought about what kind of heroe I would be:

I am not sure whether I would be entirely good or bad. I guess that will depend on how people see my methods. Depending on the crime committed I may have bizarre or cruel ways to make the criminals pay. Some one has to do it. I want tot think that I am not bad if I am punishing the evil doers.

I would not support any political band/party. If a government or group tried to use me as a weapon they would be using me for their own benefits. That would go against my principles. I would combat what's wrong regardless of who does it. Predators, kidnappers, rapists, robbers, killers, people with a history that clearly shows their evil nature will be my target.

I got the idea of this invincible super me from witnessing the suffering of people I love. I have witnessed the injustice of a crime that never got punished. I have seen the suffering of my father with his kidney stones, my little sister and her bone pain, and many other loved ones with worse diseases. I wish I could heal them all!

I think that of evil people get the punishment they deserve, proportional to the pain they cause to others, others, planning to will see that crime does not pay and they will restrain from doing it. And even if they do it anyway, at least peole will see justice done in their life time, not in some imaginary future when the criminals have perpetrated many more crimes.

For the colors, I used watercolors (yellow, blue, red and black)
These are the colors I like. I wanter my suit to be dark and bright at the same time (inviting?). Purple is said to represent wisdom and mysticism. Not sure about that, but it worked for me.
