Need Daddy's Help // Building / Homeschooling

In this lockdown period, I admire parents who can set schedule for their children. I tried but I can't, either the boys cannot follow through or it is the mummy who can't. So we have been comfortable with "let it be what goes for the day". Not everyday is a day of writing and reading for the boys, else they will get really bored. What they love most is playing imagination around the house, jumping, running, making silly jokes and of course some screen time.

We had mail!

These two boxes arrived at the correct timing. Eldest son was under the weather so he was disinterested to do school's textbook or school's exercise books. But when he saw this, his eyes were immediately filled with brightness. It was something he likes. He just has a thing for science and building and adventures.

I bought these online for a very good price because it was clearance sales. Only RM5 per box!!! My felt lucky!!! Let me show you the 'ingredients'. Onions, garlic, celery, cilantro, these I know. But these...hmmm,it is just not my thing. However, they made the boys filled with excitement.

It was like a medicine to the soul for my eldest. But not so for the younger one. But he still posed for me. He rather watched his brother build than building himself. But I admit, it was abit difficult for him who has delayed fine motor skills.

Let's Start!

Jayden could not wait so he quickly gobbled down his dinner despite low appetite so that he could started constructing. Look at how focused he was.

He continued in the room, as one hour plus had passed and it was almost bed time, but he could not stop halfway what he had started.

And this cheeky one tried to photobomb!

Jayden was getting frustrating as he constructed more parts, even I could not help him as I could not really understand the manual which showed how to assemble the parts.

And he called daddy to the rescue!

After 2 hours and 45 minutes later... ⤵️

Isn't it lovely? I admire watching the result of the construction and I praised the son for persevering till the end.

But it was 12am!!!

With hearts satisfied, everyone went to sleep and now the truck becomes one of the decoration items on our shelf. So I have diligently ensure no dust trapped inside the truck or else it will be tedious job to clean the inner parts. Maybe I should find a container to keep it. Hope things are well with you as you read this.

❤️Love from me!❤️
