It always kills me when a room costs more in person than it does online. When I was on the road I would usually book 1-2 nights online, then try to work out a deal in person for a lower rate for future nights. Some hotel staff just couldn't understand the math of me paying less and them getting paid more by eliminating the middle-man.

Yep, IDK eaither. And one time it was so funny. I literally made a reservation in front of the desk and it was cheaper...
