I hope you are all well. It is a lovely day today. Yesterday, was a bit rainy, but on the whole managed to avoid getting soaked when walking the dogs.

We cleaned rooms and had some guests arrive
These cats don’t really like each other. I assume they were sharing a bed because both of them wanted it and they were stubbonly refusing to move!
Today, we have our first Zoom funeral. A dear friend of ours who died a few weeks ago. It was he who brought my wife along to a gig, a band that he and I were following. Without him I wouldn’t have met my wife. So that will be the focus of our day, all other things will fit around that.

Cats can be quite silly sometimes, they'll do stuff like that.
Hopefully your day goes well, a funeral over Zoom does not sound like it'd be a fulfilling experience.
Yeah, it wasn't a great experience. Felt a bit like peaking into someone else's grief (even though we were good friends and invited!). Didn't help that the sound was so bad we couldn't hear any readings... but hopefully his husband and friends and family had some comfort that there were people from all around the world that wanted to be there with them.

A zoom funeral! I have never used zoom but lots of people here use it everyday for work. Your life must be a bit like a novel!
Hope the winter weather is not too harsh this year so that you could walk your dogs everyday. I need to become as active as you are!
