Hello 🐝lovely🐝bees🐝! It’s Tuesday 11th August 2020!! Hope you had a fabulous start to the week.

We had a bit of rain yesterday, not a lot but it was a bit cooler and a breeze too.

We had two guests arrive yesterday (same party, but two rooms). They wanted a meal so we prepared and served them one in their room.

We are full today, with no one leaving and no one arriving. So I am going to head up to the other house to do some work in a little while. The guests want to eat here again this evening, so my wife will stay and prepare the meal, I’ll be back to help serve it!



I hope you are all well and keeping safe.

I have done some Hive curation this morning, and will be doing more work on Hive later.

Yes, business has been better than I thought in July and August. Most French people are staying in France so we are getting people exploring parts of the country they have never been to. The virus is still here and I have a feeling it will come back in force after the children go back to school in September.

Your place looks lovely!

I'm happy that your able to have guests! I lost my job in hospitality due to the pandemic, and this post makes me think harder about running a B&B ourselves!

Well the months before July and August were dreadful. Luckily the French Government have been helping out small businesses. We have had almost normal levels of business in July and August but fear the last few months of the year will see a big reduction in business (I think the virus will come back in October/November time here in France). But we will see. We don't have much of a choice but to keep going!

Thanks for visiting @felt.buzz midday storms just upset normal day rituals. We need rain, normally afternoon showers, however when it settles for a couple of days all washing etc. has to wait relying on the sun and wind to dry everything.
