Hello 🐝lovely🐝bees🐝! It’s Thursday 29th October 2020!! ! Happy Almost-Friday!

Yesterday, I had my online course for improving my B&B website. We had a shift in the artisanal shop too.


Last night the President of France announced new lockdown measures starting tonight. People are not able to move around the country. Non-essential shops, restaurants, bars are closed.

No meeting people inside or outside. We will need to fill out a form everytime we leave the house (we are allowed to go out for food shopping, for medical reasons, or to walk the dogs, but will need to fill out a form for each time)

This is going to continue until 1st December (but will be reviewed in two weeks)

So our B&B is now closed. The artisanal shop is closed. I assume the artisanal pop-up shop will be cancelled - or at least pushed back a bit.

I am still making sheep, even if I won’t have anywhere to sell them for a while!

Actually, for us it makes things clearer. Welcoming people into our home who might be infected has been pretty stressful. We are lucky we live in a small town so there is space to walk the dogs, etc, so lockdown is okay. And the French government (for all its faults) is supporting businesses who have been shut down (and the winter is less busy for us, anyway).
