Hello friends of the community and lovers of drawing, today I want to present a new portrait in realistic drawing and it is about the American actor Joaquin Phoenix who plays Arthur Fleck, a comedian with serious psychiatric problems who ends up becoming the well-known Joker.

Hola amigos de la comunidad y amantes al dibujo hoy les quiero presentar un nuevo retrato en dibujo realista y se trata del actor estaunidense Joaquin Phoenix que interpreta a Arthur Fleck, un comediante con graves problemas psiquiátricos que acaba convirtiéndose en el conocido Guason.

Using as the main tool a mechanical pencil with HB leads and taking an image of the actor, I begin to create main parts of the face such as the eyes, eyebrows, nose and lips. Then would come the creation of the skin creating a layer of very soft graphite as if stroking the paper so that later with the blur and soft bristle brushes I expand the graphite to create a surface with its different details such as wrinkles and lines of expressions with their different tonal lights and darker shadows. Then with the 6b pencil would come the creation of the hair creating layer after layer to give it volume and with the moldable eraser to draw out small lights to give some final details to have this portrait ready in drawing.

Usando como herramienta principal un portaminas con minas HB y tomando una imagen del actor empiezo a crear partes principales del rostro como es la mirada, cejas, nariz y labios. Luego vendría la creación de la piel creando una capa de grafito muy suave como acariciando el papel para que luego con el difumino y pinceles de cerda suave voy expandiendo el grafito para así crear una superficie con sus distinto detalles como arrugas y lineas de expresiones con sus diferentes tonales de luces y sombras mas oscuras. Luego con el lápiz 6b vendría la creación del cabello creando capa tras capa para darle volumen y con el borrador moldeable ir sacando pequeñas luces para así dar unos detalles finales para tener listo este retrato en dibujo.
