Fun fact of the week, did you know the hashtag "#" is not officially known as a hashtag? It is officially known as an "octothorpe" Source. So next time someone says "What hashtag should I use?" you could look at them rather confusingly and say, "hashtag?? oh you mean what octothorpe should you use". lol.
