Hi Hivers! The major #scale and western #pentatonic are fine for a bit but stepping out of your comfort zone only increases the odds. One of my favorite scales is the Hirajoshi which works in a similar way to the pentatonic starting from the principle of 2 notes per string. Outside of that, the sound is TOTALLY #DIFFERENT. I invite you to experiment with this little treasure. Soon I will leave a couple of pieces in which I played, letting myself be carried away by this scale and combining it with a couple of others.

Hola Hivers! La escala mayor y la pentatonica occidental están bien por un rato pero salirse de la zona de confort solo aumenta las posibilidades. Una de mis escalas favoritas es la Hirajoshi que funciona de forma similar a la pentatonica partiendo del principio de 2 notas por cuerda. Fuera de eso la sonoridad es TOTALMENTE DIFERENTE. Los invito a experimentar con este tesorito. Ya pronto dejare un par de piezas en las que jugué dejándome llevar por esta escala y combinándola con un par de otras mas.
