You are studying Biology although your great inspiration has always been Medicine but I know that it is not easy to accept the bitter defeat, despite your efforts. Even if your study path is not exactly what you would like, I advise you not to give up everything and continue to believe in what is your dream, become a doctor and go to help those in need in Africa.

Life is never simple and every time we run into certain difficulties, you have to learn to step back a few steps. This does not mean giving up everything but it is necessary to take a larger run to jump a slightly higher obstacle.

Spend a lot of time in the company of your girlfriend, neglecting a brotherly friend of yours ... You are just 20 years old and love is not yet what you believe. Better a few evenings in the company of friends, between rock music and ball TV series, between carefree laughter and unbalanced dinners.

You know Claudio ... Time passes, slowly and inexorably, and everything you neglect today, maybe in 15 years you can regret it. Io so che adesso la tua vita universitaria appena iniziata non è semplice. Stai studiando Biologia sebbene la tua grande ispirazione sia sempre stata Medicina ma so bene che non è semplice accettare l'amara sconfitta, nonostante il tuo impegno. Anche se il tuo percorso di studio non è esattamente quello che a te piacerebbe, io ti consiglio di non mollare tutto e di continuare a credere in quello che è il tuo sogno, diventare un medico e andare ad aiutare i bisognosi in Africa.

La vita non è mai semplice ed ogni volta che ci imbattiamo in talune difficoltà, devi imparare ad indietreggiare di qualche passo. Questo non significa mollare tutto ma è necessario prendere una rincorsa più grande per saltare un ostacolo un po' più alto.

Trascorri molto tempo in compagnia della tua ragazza, trascurando un tuo amico fraterno... Hai appena 20 anni e l'amore non è ancora ciò che credi. Meglio qualche serata in compagnia degli amici, tra musica rock e serie TV a palla, tra risate spensierate e cene squilibrate.

Sai Claudio... Il tempo passa, lentamente ed inesorabilmente, e tutto ciò che oggi trascuri, magari tra 15 anni potrai pentirtene. Un giorno ti ritroverai ad osservare le nuvole e ti chiederai: Perché ho rinunciato ad un amico per una stupida storia? Oggi potevamo continuare ad essere amici fraterni, ad uscire assieme con le nostre famiglie, a condividere i nostri sogni ed i nostri problemi...

Invece sono qui, a scriverti di non commettere quei stessi errori che oggi rimpiangi... Ma la vita è così... Errare humana est dicevano gli antichi latini... Ma le conseguenze dei nostri errori... Quelli sono a volte indelebili...

Caro Claudio, permettimi di darti poche raccomandazioni o suggerimenti o consiglio, come tu vorrai chiamarli. Ho un po' più di esperienza di te e vorrei che fossi un po' meno riflessivo, meno realista e meno con i piedi ben saldi. Lasciati andare ogni tanto ad azioni senza pensare troppo agli altri ma pensa di più a te stesso. Sono sicuro che raggiungerai comunque tutti i tuoi obiettivi e vivrai al massimo tutte le tue esperienze!
