My garden floorishes with the beautiful hydreangas
The garden is doing great and not because of my green fingers. The garden has had so much water Director the rain we had, the hydreangas do great.
We have a few colors and they are the only color in our garden. We have a lot of plain green. But I know we in the Netherlands have great innovation on the hydrangea market. One of my friends works there and I want to tell you a bit about this breeders association.
Hydrangea Breeders Association develops new hydrangea varieties for the customers profit and consumers satisfaction. At the joint companies’ premises the result from the crosses and other breeding activities is produced into flowering. Selections and choices are made on the spot, thus within the normal production procedures. Wishes and questions are therefore easily reported from the field / greenhouse and incorporated into a sophisticated breeding program. New varieties are being tested extensively in practice.
Attractive new varieties and series are developed with improved characteristics serving the markets needs, such as compact growth, good branching, resistance to pests and diseases and an excellent shelf life. On top of this, splendid new colors and flower shapes make the assortment one of the worlds finest. A real change is the continueously flowering Hydrangea that initiates buds and flowerheads from april till september and thus providing the conditions for consumer value.
The modern breeding techniques used, do achieve the desired results as efficiently as possible. The breeder team consists of highly educated, experienced and dedicated people. Information exchange about production experiences with growers from all over the world, guarantees the best practice input imaginable. And working together is beneficial to the whole world export.
The combination of knowledge of modern breeding techniques, breeding and practical experience guarantees optimal results: varieties with superior cultivation qualities and consumer value. We often get stories of new ones and the mix colors. It’s also said that the newer Breda are stronger and more easy to keep alive inside. For me it’s still one of my favorites both for inside and in the garden.

Very lovely indeed. You did well with the camera and the subjects!
I had a row of hydrangea at a house, and I loved them. But I could influence their color with fertilizer and changing the soil ph. Amazing flowers.
