I am at a age between 30-50 years young, where the friends who I have that aren’t married yet, get married now at an older age, and have the kids they have between them, with them during the ceremony. Or for instance as ring barrer. Reasons are different for everyone. Nowadays due to covid 19 we did not have marriages or events what so ever. Untill now......

Tengo entre 30 y 50 años de edad, donde los amigos que tengo que aún no están casados, se casan ahora a una edad mayor y tienen a los hijos que tienen entre ellos, con ellos durante la ceremonia. I love simplicity, sophistication and light colors but with a white non sunkissed skin I have my doubts. I know tha magazines say “ it will always work in your favor” but not won over yet. I like clean and soft lines showing curves. This means tailored looks, clean lines and timeless pieces that can be worn again and again, not that i need to buy something i cannot wear after. I love for bright colors and sparkles but is that appropriate? I can always stay more soft and do consider a sequined clutch or a multicolor hand bag. There’s always bit of Britt in a way incorporated into the newly shopped personal style for whatever occasion I may have to go to.

Sé que las revistas dicen "siempre funcionará a tu favor", pero aún no te han ganado. Me gustan las líneas limpias y suaves que muestran curvas. Well I don’t know all the details yet, and the venue also isn’t decided on. Fact is that we need to have a rehearsal dinner outfit, a church outfit for the day and a dinner/party outfit for the evening. You can do that with one ofcourse but I love fashion so I will go try out an outfit that is combinable in three styles. Moneywise also the best option but I can dream and look at all those great outfits available.

I did search on colors for wedding and this came up after my search :

So that is what I need to keep in mind aswell.

Modest isn’t my middle name, these kind of celebrations, need a careful planning and a great outfit because I would lik if my guests would do the same. But ofcourse it doesn’t have to mean boring sets, but I understand if understated elegance isn’t necessarily your thing. I worked in fashion as a fitting model and the most lush the fabrics or the pattern the harder my hart beats.but this time what do i need? Longer hems, sleeves, and higher necklines , skirt, floorsweeper, flats or heels, what color, feathers, hair piece, jewels, bags and make up. The site i found made all kinds of outfits and I love them. Well for this occasion maybe not the red and black.
Or maybe as color but not the centre piece.
With the outfit I can show my personality through unexpected colors and textures instead. Considering dress 1 or 3 in white in an A-line long number with a blouse with ruffles and billowy sleeves.
Also in 1 and 3. I want to play with skirt prints as another way to mix it up. I love a print upon a neutral color or a more subtle print on a white long skirt. But some of the items from the different options can be combined, I love it!

Modest no es mi segundo nombre, este tipo de celebraciones, necesitan una planificación cuidadosa y un gran atuendo porque me gustaría que mis invitados hicieran lo mismo. Pero, por supuesto, no tiene por qué significar conjuntos aburridos, pero entiendo que la elegancia discreta no es necesariamente lo tuyo. Trabajé en moda como modelo ajustada y cuanto más exuberantes son las telas o el patrón, más fuerte late mi corazón. Pero esta vez, ¿qué necesito? El sitio que encontré hizo todo tipo de atuendos y me encantan. Bueno para esta ocasión quizás no el rojo y el negro.
O tal vez como color pero no como pieza central.
Con el atuendo puedo mostrar mi personalidad a través de colores y texturas inesperados. Teniendo en cuenta el vestido 1 o 3 en blanco en un número largo de línea A con una blusa con volantes y mangas onduladas.
También en 1 y 3. Quiero jugar con estampados de falda como otra forma de mezclarlo. Me encanta un estampado sobre un color neutro o un estampado más sutil sobre una falda larga blanca. Pero algunos de los elementos de las diferentes opciones se pueden combinar, ¡me encanta!

Mind the Seasons, is what we fashionistas know, but the date is in september so that is a tricky weather month. As lovely as sleeves may be, you’re not going to be comfortable if it’s a mid-summer wedding and the church doesn’t have air conditioning. It’s always easier to cover up, so I will try wearing a sleeveless or cap-sleeve blouse for sure with a vest or blazer, Or bring a sweater, blazer, or shawl. Oh and I will leave flip flops in the car, for when I drive home.

Por muy bonitas que sean las mangas, no te sentirás cómoda si es una boda de mediados de verano y la iglesia no tiene aire acondicionado. Siempre es más fácil cubrirse, así que intentaré usar una blusa sin mangas o con mangas cortas con un chaleco o blazer, o llevaré un suéter, blazer o chal. Ah, y dejaré chanclas en el auto, para cuando conduzca a casa.
