RE: #ZAPFIC - tell me a tale in 240 characters or less (a micro fiction contest with Prize pool including 6 SBI 100 Marlians, 100 CCC!)

I love your Zapfics! It's not as easy as it might look to someone who hasn't tried to make a cohesive interesting story in only 240 characters. I'm going to give this one a shot when I get back from the doctor's office today! It's snowing to beat the band this morning and I have a 70-mile drive one way in to St Louis, so wish me luck, lol.
