RE: Monday Challenges >> Prizes and Fun from D.Buzz (ROUND 5)
You are viewing a single comment's thread:
@chrisrice, @jacuzzi. i have a concern over using dbuzz due to Fernando's comment re MarkyMark: "he is downvoting everything I post on D.Buzz because he doesn't like "short posts"."
I must admit i'm not so keen on very short replies (such as just "thank you") which could be construed as an attempt to just get another vote/reward.
Obviously i would prefer not to get downvoted and definitely dont wanna get on a blacklist.
Is this a legitimate concern for dbuzz and it's users?
If so, should there perhaps be a minimum no. of characters for posts and comments perhaps?
Thoughts?

This comment is worth replying to by you.
@atma.love
Don't worry, Mark intending to downvote most (if not all) posts on D.Buzz is just speculation at present.
Indeed, it's just speculation for the time been.
Hello @atma.love Thank you for your support and for reaching out to us!
It makes me sad that people abuse their power in such ways. :(
Was this a new comment?
We have users posting every day who do not get downvoted.
You can go to https://d.buzz/ and check the user, then go to their hive.block or peaked page to see.
But also, I just post the content and am not too versed in the best way to respond. I did, however, shoot @chrisrice a message and asked him to look into this too.
The team is on it, please stay tuned.
Thanks for your reply. Well, let's not assume he is abusing his power. I'm sure he is doing his best, like we all are. Let's get to the bottom of it. I will look deeply. Yes a quite recent comment.
Namaste
Hi @atma.love,
From what I understand, @themarkymark has a personal issue with @fernandosoder stemming back a few years ago but I might be wrong, since I have been a bit busy lately.
@guiltyparties is usually the one we consult with for matters like this, and he has helped us as we prepare our Dapp for marketing which we fully intend to do.
The "Thank you" replies are not posts, but comments, and people are free to leave short comments like that on other front-ends like Hive.Blog.
@guiltyparties advised against making a minimum length for Buzz's (Posts) as it was tried before, and it didn't prevent abuse.
If possible, please advise us @guiltyparties & @themarkymark.
P.S. As far as I know, @themarkymark hasn't flagged anyone else on @dbuzz other than Fernando, and as I said before, I think Rep scores on Hive.Blog should be improved to account for repeated disagreements on rewards.
Thank you @atma.love, @guiltyparties and if possible, please join us in a discussion @themarkymark 🙂👍
It's not a personal issue at all.
We strongly recommend not to upvote and comment this user
I am undecided about Mark, but your "police" comment is absolutely spam.
That was before I made any mention of him on D.Buzz.
