Orchid squared

avatar

Of course, only the photo format is square. Yes, I adore flowers. Orchids are my latest obsession. In fact, I started growing them right after getting my little macro lens. Now I photograph them less and less and I try more and more around them. This is just an orchid flower without leaves or roots in a bottle that lasted for about a month. That is why it was most interesting for me to photograph as an abstraction. I also like to take photos behind wet or textured glass.

Orchids are my latest obsession.

And you found our community! 😁 I hope you plan to hit that subscribe button soon @desro 😊 I for one would love to see more incredible shots of Orchids. I like the 2nd shot.. So cool to see the little details missed by the naked eye. And the last one, behind water laden glass is also really cool.

Thank you, @bdmillergallery! I thought that I already did. I have a couple of orchids waiting to bloom for the first time. :D

Oh cool! Me too.. Mine have bloomed before, just can't remember what color they are. It will be a surprise for me. How about you? Do you know what color they will be?? Look forward to seeing more posts about Orchids from you 😁

They told me in the shop about dendrobium nobile that it was white but they were not quite sure. And Cymbidium orchid...they already wanted to throw it away because the leaves were completely dry, it did not have a single root and only two leaves on the steem remained half-alive. I took it and now I have new leaves and a full pot of roots. Still to flourish :)

Hi. These are really fantastic photos. I must admit, though, that this post made me crave for ice cream. Vanilla with strawberry syrup. Yummy. Thanks for sharing.
