There is a book, The Price of Tomorrow: Why Deflation is the Key to an Abundant Future by Jeff Booth that touches on some of this. I've seen interviews with the author. I have not read the book yet. But, it's on my list of economics literature.

I wasn't aware of this book. Thanks for pointing out. It will be interesting what take the author has on both inflation and deflation.
I think deflation can be an indication of opportunities if it is caused by increased efficiency and productivity. However, it can be problematic if it is not correctly acted on.
