I would prefer a system where manual curation had a better chance of earning higher rewards than automated voting. This is because manual curation is better for the Hive ecosystem. It is also requires more effort, which should be rewarded. The example I gave would generate higher curation rewards to those running curation trials than to those who automate their voting. However, no matter how algorithms are changed, automation would still offer a reasonably good return.
