Reinterpretation: The Cat with the Red Fishes Geometrical // Reinterpretacion: El Gato con los Peces Rojos Geometrico [ENG-ESP]

Hello everyone, today I bring you this digital illustration in which again I reinterpret a famous painting, today is the turn of the fauvist work the cat with the red fishes of the French artist Henri Matisse, this painter is well known for being considered the creator of the artistic movement called fauvism, which means wild beasts, because in this style the colors of reality are not used, rather predominates the use of pure and intense colors such as primary and secondary, means by which he tries to express his feelings, the figures are flat, linear, enclosed in thick contour lines, the brushstrokes are fast and vigorous, without mixtures or shades of colors, managing to create distortion in the figures, giving a sense of spontaneity.
To make this piece in digital I did what I have been doing in previous works, that is, I took as a reference the image of the original work and opened it in a blank document in the illustrator cc program, I proceeded to lock this layer and created a new layer to make the strokes with linear geometric shapes, after making the whole process of construction, I painted each of the parts of the drawing keeping the same colors of the original work taking color samples with the dropper tool, then I added a third new layer and in it I was placing different geometric shapes such as triangles, squares, circles and spirals of different sizes and colors throughout the composition to give a greater sense of geometry and dynamism.

Hola a todos, hoy les traigo esta ilustración digital en el que nuevamente reinterpreto un cuadro famoso, hoy es el turno de la obra fauvista el gato con los peces rojos del artista francés Henri Matisse, este pintor es muy conocido por ser considerado el creador del movimiento artístico llamado fauvismo, que significa fieras, debido a que en este estilo no se utilizan los colores de la realidad, más bien predomina el uso de colores puros e intensos como los primarios y secundarios, medio por el cual intenta expresar sus sentimientos, las figuras son planas, lineales, encerradas en gruesas líneas de contorno, las pinceladas son rápidas y vigorosas, sin mezclas ni matices de colores, logrando crear distorsión en las figuras, dando una sensación de espontaneidad.
Para realizar esta pieza en digital hice lo que vengo haciendo en trabajos anteriores, es decir, tomé como referencia la imagen de la obra original y la abrí en un documento en blanco en el programa illustrator cc, procedí a bloquear esta capa y creé una capa nueva para ir haciendo los trazos con formas geométricas lineales, después de hacer todo el proceso de construcción, pinté cada una de las partes del dibujo manteniendo los mismos colores de la obra original tomando muestras de color con la herramienta cuenta gotas, luego agregué una tercera capa nueva y en ella fui colocando diferentes formas geométricas como triángulos, cuadrados, círculos y espirales de diferentes tamaños y colores en toda la composición para dar mayor sensación de geometría y dinamismo.
