I've already seen a few posts pop up on here! How? They used the new tag #pimp! I've been testing out this, that and the other, seeing how things work over here. I am actually posting from the frontend - pimp.media right now and hoping it goes into the Hive community/tribe. As you know, this is very new territory. You can expect changes to be made quite frequently (as frequent as I can get them done anyway), as I hope to provide everyone with a unique user experience and interface. It will take time, but I'm already 4 years in, so let's do this.

Ok, I'm not going to pretend I know what all of those mean, but the way I want it set up, the major points are that are not reflective of Hive (meaning it runs differently):

• The author rewards are a 65/35 split as I think authors are the ones creating the content so should get more for their work. This number may even rise in the future.
• Downvotes are heavily weighted as I want people to be selective in their flagging, an option to provide a reason will be added in the future. I'm not against a downvote, I just think they should be justified and the 'free flags' are currently abused on Hive. Agree to disagree.
• I have the block production rewards reduction set to twice what Hive is as there is a much more finite amount of PIMP that will be issued and available.
• Finally, and some of these may not be reflecting yet, but I put the VP for PIMP 50% higher than a Hive vote. The reason being, I want people to curate here with discretion. Every three votes here, will have the same effect as 2 votes of your Mana on Hive so, when you go back over there, you still have plenty of Mana to vote with too 😎

These will be played with, customized and so on as it develops. I am always open to suggestion and networking with people for some interesting new features. The logo is subject to change, everything is. What do we do with change? We accept it, adopt it, and pimp that shit out. Ha!

You Said Airdrop?

Yes! Now, I've been rolling different ideas around in my head as to how to approach this as I don't want to give a bunch away to people who don't actually want it. @moeknows had a great idea about divvying them out to my witness voters, but, as I went through the list, I realize that some of them don't even know what Hive is and have faded into the possible 'lost account' territory. It may hurt me when decaying votes come into play with the next hardfork, but we'll manage!
