Solos weekly picks: Macro Photography

Using macro lenses is something pretty new to me. I bought one for my micro 4/3 camera and since then I have really enjoyed using it. Looking at others captures in macro gives me inspiration to try some new shots. Really glad I got into macro photography, so I want to share some posts of some users on hive posting their own photos.

Here are five Hive minnows showing off their macro photography:

Taking a walk through a new village, they collect some black and white images of the nature around them. A bunch of flowers, plants and a bug was captured in the images.

Fungi Friday - I Raced a Snail ...and Lost by @tych021

We get to see some snails munching on some mushrooms, they point out in the post that there is a race to get to fresh mushrooms before snails and slugs start eating them.

A capture of some blooming flowers can be seen in this post, the colors from these carnation flowers is really pretty. I like the orange color to them and I think these are some great captures.

Some water drops are captured in this macro photography post. The blades of grass hold the water drops in place as they were captured. Really great shots there.

We get to see some pictures taken by a cell phone and then converted to black and white. Its a mix of animal photography, plants and some macro shots as well.
