Solos Weekly Picks - Garden harvests
Yesterday I had a chance to harvest my Sweet potatoes, its alot of fun seeing them grow up from just the slips, to vines, to flower and then to harvest. Its been many months in the making but it was time to harvest.
Here are some other peoples gardens around on Hive, these minnows are growing food as well. Or may just have their favorite plants in the garden. Others go out into the woods, the "worlds biggest garden" and find food out there.

This was the first time they ate something from their own garden. Normally just flowers are grown but this time around some Spinach was grown and harvested. Then cooked using some vegetable oil, onion slices, turmeric powder, salt, chili slices. Then added the potato and spinach and cooked it for several minutes with the lid on.
Mushrooms from the Woods and Bread from the Wood Stove by @anafae

Mushroom picking can be a challenge, there are many kinds of fungi but only a few humans can eat. They went out into the woods to look for some mushrooms to eat, though the ones brought back ended up being non-edible. But they were still used in compost. And regardless some fresh bread was made so looks like a successful day.
My little garden update #3 by @josehany
https://peakd.com/hive-123046/@josehany/my-little-garden-update-3
In this garden we get to see two different kinds of tomatoes, peppers, chives and paprika. Looks like a few of the tomatoes are ready, depending on if you want to fry them or not. Its great to see so many things grown in one place. Looks like a good harvest is in the future.
Garden Update - The end of gardening season by @nikolina
https://peakd.com/garden/@nikolina/garden-update-the-end-of-gardening-season
We get to see a Hazelnut tree along with a cabbage harvest in this post. As they approach the end of the growing season its a bitter-sweet time, missing the fresh produce and nothing much to grow in the winter means this fall harvest is the last until the frosts are over next year. A bonus photo of a cat named Bella can be seen in the post as well.. cute kitty.
(Esp/ Eng) - Pimienta de cayena /Cayenne pepper - Daily&Fresh (30/365) - by @mllg

A hot pepper plant is grown and harvested in this post, a pretty hot pepper called a Cayenne is used. Mentioned in the post is the medicinal uses. From my experience it is good to add to foods when you have a cold. And just cooking with it in general is a tasty spice. Looks like it was cut up with some ham to go with the pepper.
Thats my curation of five minnows on the Hive Blockchain for the week. Stay tuned next week to see the next five of Solo's picks. I will follow up with a post of my own soon showing off my Sweet Potato harvest, we outdid ourselves again this year and have many more than last years harvest.
