Solos weekly picks: Gaming

Playing video games is something I have done since my early childhood. I had consoles and a Mac, then later on in my teenage years I got a PC. Learning how to mod games and setting up LAN parties really gave me an opportunity to learn about software and operating systems. And I feel that it helped me in my IT career somewhat. Since my teenage days I have put thousands of hours into gaming and really enjoy it even now. I decided to curate some gaming posts this week.

A minecraft post here where they built a castle, but its themed with the HiveGC colors and logos. Really cool to see someone build this. Reminds me alot of virtual legos, and honestly I have not played Minecraft but looks like their creativity went to good use. And really happy to see HiveGC (Hive Gaming Community) being promoted in Minecraft like this.

We get an update on the Splinterlands ecosystem in this post, and I found out that not only lands have sold out but so has Untamed packs. Glad I am holding a few unopened packs and looking forward to the next series of cards coming out called Chaos Legion.

Goose game is another one of those titles I have yet to play, but ive watched many people playing it online. In this post we get an in depth explanation of the game and a review of it.

Seeing game remakes always brings nostalgia to me, although I did not play Perfect Dark I can see in this post how much it has improved since the N64 days. In this Xbox Live Arcade release they compare graphics and talk about the games history and how it compares to the remastered version. Rare made some pretty cool games over the years, I recently played the leaked Golden remaster and was alot of fun.

For my last curated post I share a product review, one that is meant for gaming. This mouse has some great LED effects and has a nice ergonomic design to it. We see it unboxed and a review is left in the post.
