Solo's weekly picks - Food
Seeing food on Hive reminds me of how many different ways it can be served. And reading about others eating experiences really opens my eye to other cultures. Even finding out how much others pay for their food in the regions where they live is interesting to me. Many great posts were made this week about food, and I selected five of them in this post to talk about today.

In this post some of their favorite foods are shared, such as eating at Subway (I had no idea they had those in Venezuela), fried chicken, lasagna with spaghetti, hamburgers, BBQ, Cuban rice and Pasta with shrimp. All sounds delicious and good choices.

We see how a spaghetti omelette is made, honestly I have never considered using noodles in an omelette so its interesting to see how this is done. Some cabbage, coriander, chives and eggplant are used in this recipe along with some sausage. By the end of cooking this it came out quite nice.

A dessert is made in this post, its a creamy sponge cake made with ripe banana and cheese. Vanilla and cinnamon is used to spice the cake and cooked in the oven. When its pulled out a perfect cake has formed.

Some buns are boiled and cheese is added to make a common Venezuelan cuisine. Precooked cornmeal is used for the bread, butter and cheese is added at the end to make a nice meal.

An interesting topic for a post, discussing the cost of desserts in different regions. I am always surprised to see the cost of food from around the world. And I have noticed I pay alot for my food as an american. In this post @keritroberts in Venezuela shares with us the costs of desserts where she lives.
