The porch is going on to the travel trailer, and will get a ramp for wheelchair access.

We put in another day at the homestead and got the porch levels and tied into the travel trailer. It has temporary steps delpit's put in the actual ramp that's planned. Here's what it looks like right now:

I still need to bolt the porch to the travel trailer so it doesn't move. We need to raise about 3 ft to get to the porch with the ramp. There will be a concrete landing at the bottom of the ramp to unload the wheelchair from the car.

We had a couple of interesting visitors while we were working. The first one was a very pregnant praying mantis. I'm glad to see her there they're very helpful predator.

She was about three and a half inches long which is large for praying mantis here.

The second was a spider we always called Scarlett, but their scientific name is Argiope aurantia. They are quite stunning.

This one was about 2 and 1/2 inch in diameter and their scientific name speaks to the fact that their head is covered with little tiny silver hairs. Thet are known to vibrate their web when threatened, either to help catch the bug that's threatening them; or to defend themselves by making a moving Target!

My local inspector was back keeping an eye on what we were doing just to make sure we got it all correct.

She's a pretty little thing but she's too curious for her own good. I'll try to put food out in the salt block after we get out that direction, so that we can watch her.

This was a picture of Sundown on the way home really got some pretty colors!

Overall a good day didn't get as much done as I wanted but we got more done than I expected.
