My friend sent me a picture if his new Baby, since I helped him find some of the parts for her, LOL!
We found a cut up (demilled) Romainian AK in a box at a gun show a decade ago. It was missing some parts, but need to be adopted!
We found the missing parts, and built the ones that were missing entirely; and he took her to the range this week. What do you think?
It has been built back semi-automatic to be 100% legal, and he refinished all of her to original. It also has a normal wooden stock, but he couldn't get it in the picture up close; as he wanted me to be able to see the parts we made from scratch.
He tells me she has a tight group, which I look forward to verifying myself soon, LOL! It was fun to bring this historical piece, back from the scrap heap.
The worst day shooting is better than, the best day at work....
It took time, but it is good to see ger come back from a box of damaged parts!

He really tricked her out, LOL! He is a crack shot, so this will be a very effective defensive firearm.
He is proud of all the work done, and it is nice to see the final product!
He is working on rebuilding a bren gun to a semi-automatic variant. Still got a ways to go on that one!
