Bee on a flower

The bee belongs to the Apoidea family of stinging flying insects. She is closest to wasps and ants.

Bees feed on pollen and nectar. At the same time, pollen serves as a source of useful substances (in particular protein) for bees, and nectar serves as energy. Some types of bees have a large social organization.

A special feature of the bee is the presence of a proboscis for sucking out the nectar and feeling the taste. And the antennae perform the functions of smell, recognize heat / cold / humidity. Some parts of the body and legs serve as hearing organs.
