Three Picture Thursday

(Edited)

I shared three photos last Thursday, and @justclickindiva asked if it was a thing. My reply?

Not really...

And then I thought,

Why not?

So, here are three photos:

How my day started:

It was cold. The night had been blustery and wet. Gandalf figured that being a cuddle cat was more important than The Cat's Mother's day.

Consequently, lunch:

Classic chicken soup and bread. All homemade. Which reminds me, I wish I could send some to @lizelle who is a little under the weather. Hope you feel better soon.

Then:

The Husband was recommended for a tiling job. The property manager is happy, but the owner wanted to see photos of his work. He wanted photos of floor tiles he'd laid in our Cape Town home. Problem is, that was before cell phones had decent cameras. And, I lost a load of photos around that time. Which is one of the reasons I took to Facebook and four years ago, to the blockchain. After a search, it was FB to the rescue.

This is one of the four photos I found and sent. Of the total shower room renovation he did as we were selling the house to move to McGregor. Floornto ceiling tiles. New window, shower, basin and loo. The. Lot.

That and the kitchen sold the house.

He got the job. Starts on Monday. Client tells me that although he already had the job, she's now regretting not using him for other work!

So, this is a multipurpose post for Feline Friday, three photo and throwback Thursday.

Until next time, be well

Hello. I love homemade soup, especially chicken and broccoli. I think I like the clear soups better, which is recommended for my Diabetes.

Your husband does excellent work. I love the mirror. The white tile makes it look fresh and clean.

Thanks for sharing your photos, and I appreciate you remembering our conversation. Sometimes my rambling pays off. Take care.

That would be the equivalent of flat bread and chicken curry here like what I made for dinner.. and yeah lovely work in the bathroom. I am so amazed by the similarities in the kind of food.

I love the universality of home food and how different cultures makenit their own. Chicken curry and flatbread, now my mouth is watering!

My cat is bad-tempered 😕 he shows his love by following me everywhere but he doesn't cuddle with me as Gandalf does with you. I love that picture because it looks like he's hugging you 😍

Rambo, who's busy moving in, is a bit like that. Gandalf's morning cuddles can be a little constricting at times! 😹
