Of the Aizoaceae family, the (Sesuvium portulacastrum) is native to the coasts in almost the entire planet... this wild succulent used to saline soils is difficult to domesticate, its extreme and saline habitat is what makes it so wild in In many places, its beauty goes unnoticed because it is a common herb that nobody looks at carefully, it should be noted that in many regions it is used as a medicine for a wide spectrum of applications for health and Gastronomy in many Asian regions.

In a xerophilous habitat these plants are accustomed to the perennial sun and almost total absence of water is a very rough plant that endures these conditions with great value its survival and the beauty of its flowers is what most attracts my attention about this wonderful wild Succulent.

Beautiful! You say it's difficult to domesticate, but I see it's potted in the pictures... do you live on the coast, or is it just a short-lived (and/or) seldom flowering houseplant? It really is a stunning plant though. I !LUV it. :)

@thatcryptodave , I managed to domesticate it after several attempts it is a plant that can last for years without problem, it can only be outdoors and requires a lot of sun and heat, it blooms all year round it does not have a specific cycle, if I live very close to the coast for 30 minutes walking from home one of the advantages of domesticating it was taking soil from the places where it lives and mixing it with the substrate. greetings friend!

A well-deserved photographic post for this wild plant and its attractive flower that, as you say, is in our path and yet goes unnoticed. Thank you and greetings, @carlosadolfochac.
