[Spa-Eng] Todos somos calaveras forradas / We are all lined skulls
Feliz día, amigos de Hive. Deseo que se encuentren bien. Hoy quiero dejarles una breve reflexión. Espero que les guste.
Happy day, friends of Hive. I hope you are well. Today I want to leave you with a brief reflection. I hope you like it.
A lo largo de la historia, siempre han existido personas que tienen un ego muy elevado: algunos porque son acreedores de grandes fortunas, otros porque tienen talentos sobresalientes y también he conocido personas que no tienen ninguna de las dos características antes mencionada, pero por alguna razón su ego y orgullo residen en la exosfera; muchísimo más arriba de las nubes.
Throughout history, there have always been people who have a very high ego: some because they are creditors of great fortunes, others because they have outstanding talents and I have also known people who have neither of the two aforementioned characteristics, but for some reason their ego and pride reside in the exosphere; way above the clouds.
Está bien que reconozcamos que tenemos fuertes, destrezas, dinero; pero en todo momento debemos esforzarnos por tener una apreciación equilibrada de nosotros mismos. Reiteradamente ocurre que muchos se creen más valiosos que otros. Pese a la premisa internacional conocida como "TODOS SOMOS IGUALES", aún conozco personas que ven a los demás de manera despectiva. A este grupo de personas les quiero recordar, que tanto usted, como aquel a quien considera de menor valía, son simples calaveras forradas. Sí, algunos con una mejor tapicería, pero con un gran denominador común, llamado "MORTALIDAD".
It is good that we recognize that we have strengths, skills, money; but at all times we should strive to have a balanced appreciation of ourselves. It repeatedly happens that many believe themselves to be more valuable than others. Despite the international premise known as "WE ARE ALL EQUAL", I still know people who view others in a derogatory manner. To this group of people I would like to remind you that you, as well as the one you consider of lesser value, are simply lined skulls. Yes, some with better upholstery, but with a great common denominator, called "MORTALITY".
Amigos, no hay razón para sentirnos superiores a otros. Todos somos mortales; independientemente de nuestra clase social, cultura o etnia. Como todo ser humano, sentimos dolor cuando nos rechazan. nos humillan y nos menosprecian. Cierto, no debemos permitir que la presunción de otros nos hiera, pero hay momentos en los cuales esto es inevitable. Cuando usted, querido amigo, sea víctima de discriminación, recuerde que usted es de igual valor que el que lo está discriminando.
Friends, there is no reason to feel superior to others. We are all mortals, regardless of our social class, culture or ethnicity. As humans, we feel pain when we are rejected, humiliated and belittled. True, we must not allow the presumption of others to hurt us, but there are times when this is unavoidable. When you, dear friend, are the victim of discrimination, remember that you are of equal value to the one who is discriminating against you.
El ofensor, obviamente está en un grave error, pero usted no caiga en provocaciones. Recuerde que cada quien tiene la libertad de elegir como aprender. Las calaveras forradas con el ego elevado, lamentablemente, tendrán que aprender por las malas. Nosotros esforcémonos por ser calaveras forradas con los pies sobre la tierra, tengamos siempre presente que las buenas cualidades valen mucho más que cualquier estuche, porque en definitiva la auténtica humildad es lo que hace grande y feliz a una persona.
The offender is obviously in grave error, but do not fall into provocations. Remember that everyone has the freedom to choose how to learn. The skulls lined with high ego, unfortunately, will have to learn the hard way. Let us strive to be skulls lined with feet on the ground, let us always keep in mind that good qualities are worth much more than any case, because ultimately true humility is what makes a person great and happy.
Es cierto amiga! todos somos iguales independientemente de la clase social y hasta los momentos llegamos al mismo lugar. El ser humildes de corazón nos hace excelente seres humanos.
Me recuerda una canción que habla de que las calaveras todas son blancas. Una verdad tan real y que es igual para todos. Al final, todos terminamos en el mismo sitio y lo único que queda, es lo que dejamos en los corazones de los demás, Bellisima reflexión amiga. Saludos.

STOPExcelente contenido en mi opinión una cosa es tener el ego alto lo cual no lo considero del todo malo lo que si es cuando traspasa el límite y te crees superior a alguien...la vida es tan corta que la gente debe entender que al final todos vamos al mismo sitio sin llevarnos nada...
