[Spa-Eng] Deja el pasado en su lugar/ Leave the past in its place

Feliz tarde, amigos de Hive. De corazón espero que se encuentren bien. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes unas cortas líneas que escribí hace poco. Espero que puedan extraer alguna lección.

Happy afternoon, friends of Hive. I sincerely hope you are well. Today I want to share with you a few short lines I wrote recently. I hope you can draw some lessons from them.

¿En qué momento permitiste que tus tontos razonamientos te transformaran? ¿Por qué crees que es nocivo el pasado? ¿Por qué rayos actúas como si fueras mi primogenitor? Allá lejos quedó eso. Como debe ser. Sin darle más importancia de la que amerita. No necesito de tu cuidado para ver y aceptar las cosas con madurez.

At what point did you allow your foolish reasoning to transform you? Why do you think the past is harmful? Why on earth do you act as if you were my primogenitor? Long gone is that. As it should be. Without giving it more importance than it deserves. I don't need your care to see and accept things with maturity.

El jadear había quedado extinto por la razón, ya no burbujeaba, ya no emitía gas tóxico. Era un ayer saludable, hasta que volviste a hurgar en el. ¿Por qué haces que se entrelacen el presente y el pasado, solo para lastimar? Ese oscuro pasado, tuvo su protagonismo en su momento, pero ya es "PASADO", agonizó, estuvo en terapia intensiva, pero igual murió. No obstante, tú insistes en que tenga vigor y longevidad.

The gasping had been extinguished by reason, no longer bubbling, no longer emitting toxic gas. It was a healthy yesterday, until you went back to poke at it. Why do you make the present and the past intertwine, just to hurt? That dark past, had its protagonism at the time, but it is already "PAST", it agonized, it was in intensive care, but it still died. Nevertheless, you insist that it has vigor and longevity.

Déjalo todo atrás de una vez. Avanza, la belleza del futuro nos aguarda, solo si trabajamos en pro de este. No recuerdes con tu comportamiento lo que ya expiró. Con buena intención lo recuerdas, pensando que vas a ayudar, pero lo que haces es lastimar. Dale cabida al presente y de una vez y para siempre deja el pasado en su lugar.

Leave it all behind at once. Move forward, the beauty of the future awaits us, only if we work for it. Do not remember with your behavior what has already expired. With good intentions you remember it, thinking that you are going to help, but what you are doing is hurting. Make room for the present and once and for all leave the past in its place.
