সূচনাঃ

জাপান এশিয়ার দেশ গুলোর মধ্যে অনেক উন্নত একটি দেশে এটা আমরা সবাই জানি। জাপান সম্বন্ধে আমাদের মাঝে অনেক গল্প প্রচলিত আছে। তার সবগুলোই প্রায় সত্যি। জাতি হিসেবে জাপান নিজেদেরকে যে অবস্থানে নিয়ে গিয়েছে তাতে তারা বুঝিয়ে দিয়েছে তারা বিশ্বের অন্যতম সেরা একটি জাতি। দ্বিতীয় বিশ্বযুদ্ধের পূর্বে জাপানের যুদ্ধের কিছু কলঙ্ক রয়েছে। কিন্তু দ্বিতীয় বিশ্বযুদ্ধের মারাত্মক হামলার পর জাপান কোন যুদ্ধে জড়ায়নি। একেবারে সাধারণভাবে সবার সাথে বন্ধুত্ব রেখে শুধুমাত্র নিজের উন্নয়নে এবং নৈতিকতার মানদন্ড উন্নীত হওয়ার জন্য কাজ করে গেছে। ফলশ্রুতিতে জাপান আবারো বিশ্বের অন্যতম সুপারপাওয়ার এ পরিণত হয়েছে। দ্বিতীয় বিশ্বযুদ্ধে এত বড় ধাক্কা সামলিয়ে একটা দেশকে এরকম অবস্থায় আসার পেছনে আসলে তার দেশের লোকজনের কঠোর পরিশ্রম একাগ্রতা এবং চেষ্টা খুবই প্রশংসনীয়। জাপানিরা নৈতিকতার মানদণ্ডে অনেক উপরে। জাপানের যে তিনটি গুনাগুন আমার কাছে খুব ভালো লাগে সেই তিনটি বৈশিষ্ট্য নিয়ে আজকে আমি কিছু কথা বলব।

পরিশ্রমীঃ

আমার মনে হয় পরিশ্রমী জাতি হিসেবে জাপানিদের তুলনা কেবল মাত্র তারা নিজেই। কারণ আমরা জানি জাপানের মানুষ 16 ঘণ্টা তার অধিক সময় ধরে কাজ করে থাকে। ইউরোপ আমেরিকাসহ উন্নত অনেক দেশ কাজের দিক থেকে জাপানিদের মতো এতটা পরিশ্রম নয়। জাপান ভূমিকম্প প্রবল একটি দেশ হওয়ার পরেও তারা তাদের ক্ষয়ক্ষতি কে অনেকাংশেই লাভ করতে পারে তাদের এই পরিশ্রমী মন মানসিকতার জন্য। আর আমার মনে হয় জাপানিরা পরিশ্রমই বলেই তাদের আয়ু অনেক দীর্ঘ। কারণ যারা পরিশ্রম করে তাদের শরীরে রোগ প্রতিরোধ ক্ষমতা অনেক বেশি থাকে বলে আমার মনে হয়। জাপানের মানুষ খাবার গ্রহণ করার সময় অনেক কম সময় নেয় এবং অনেক সময় হাঁটতে হাঁটতেই তারা খাবার গ্রহণ করে থাকে। আনপ্রডাক্টিভ কাজে তারা সময় ব্যয় করতে চায় না। আমাদের দেশে যেখানে মানুষের হাতে অফুরন্ত সময় ঘুরে বেড়ানোর জন্য এবং চায়ের দোকানে আড্ডা দেয়ার জন্য, সেখানে জাপানের মানুষের জন্য এটা চিন্তা করা কল্পনার বিষয়। তারা সব সময় কোন কোন কাজ নিয়ে ব্যস্ত থাকবে এবং সেটা হবে অবশ্যই প্রডাক্টিভ কিছু। জাপানের এই পরিশ্রমই মন মানসিকতার জন্যই তারা আজকে একটা ছোট দ্বীপ রাষ্ট্র এবং প্রাকৃতিক অনেক দুর্যোগের মধ্যে থেকেও অনেক উন্নত দেশ।

নিখুঁতঃ

জাপানিদের অন্যতম আরেকটি বৈশিষ্ট্য হলো তারা কোন কাজ করলে সেটি নিখুঁতভাবে করতে চায়। জাপান পৃথিবীতে যেসব পণ্য রপ্তানি করে থাকে সেই পণ্যগুলো বিশ্বের অন্যান্য যেকোনো পণ্যের চেয়ে অনেক উন্নত মানের। জাপানের মূল বৈশিষ্ট্য হচ্ছে তারা কোয়ালিটির ব্যাপারে কখনো আপস করবে না। আর কোয়ালিটি হলো একটি ধারাবাহিক উন্নতি যেটি চলতেই থাকবে। অর্থাৎ এর কোনো শেষ নেই। প্রসেস ইমপ্রুভ করার প্রোডাক্ট ইমপোর্ট করা কিংবা প্রোডাক্টের খরচ কমানো, এই কাজগুলো ধারাবাহিকভাবে তারা উন্নতি করতে চায়। আমরা কাইজেন, সিক্স সিগমা, লিন ম্যানুফেকচারিং সহ বিভিন্ন কোয়ালিটি ইমপ্রুভমেন্ট টেকনিকের নাম শুনেছি যেগুলো মূলত জাপান কেন্দ্রিক।

পরিচ্ছন্নঃ

পরিস্কার পরিচ্ছন্নতার দিক থেকে বিশ্বের অন্য যেকোনো দেশের চেয়ে অনেক এগিয়ে রয়েছে জাপান। তাদের মাঝে এরকম যে কোথাও কোন ময়লা আবর্জনা পড়ে থাকলে সেটাকে পরিষ্কার করতেই হবে। একবার জাপানের কিছু পর্যটক সুন্দর বনে বেড়াতে এসেছিল। তো তারা সামনে যত প্লাস্টিকের বোতল পলিথিন এগুলা পাচ্ছিল তা ব্যাগে করে নিচ্ছিল। কিন্তু বাংলাদেশের জন্য গিয়েছিলেন তিনি সত্যিই খুব লজ্জিত হয়েছিলেন কারণ অনেক দূর যাওয়ার পরও তারা কোন ডাস্টবিন খুঁজে পাচ্ছিলেন না। আসলে তাদের সংস্কৃতিতে তারা বড় হয়েছেন, সেই সংস্কৃতি এখানে গড়ে না উঠায় এরকম বিপাকে পড়তে হয়েছে। আপ্নারা জানেন যে, ম্যাচ হেরে গিয়ে গ্যালারি ও মাঠের বোতল, ময়লা ইত্যাদি পরিস্কার করার যে ব্যাপার জাপানের খেলোয়াররা দেখিয়েছি তাতে সারা বিশ্বের হৃদয় তারা জয় করে নিয়েছে ম্যাচ হেরে যাওয়ার পরও।

আমি আপনি আমরা সবাই মিলে যেখানে আমাদের দেশটাকে ময়লার স্তুপে পরিণত করেছি সেখানে তারা তাদের দেশটাকে এমন ভাবে সাজিয়ে রাখতে পেরেছে যেমন ভাবে আমরা আমাদের পড়ার টেবিল কিংবা বাসার ভিতরে রুমটিকে গুছিয়ে রাখি। যদিও আমাদের দেশের বেশিরভাগ মানুষ হচ্ছে মুসলমান এবং ইসলাম ধর্মে পরিষ্কার পরিচ্ছন্নতা ঈমানের একটা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ হিসেবে বিবেচনা করা হয়েছে। আসলে আমরা ধর্ম থেকে অনেক দূরে সরে আছি। আসে না দ্বীন ধর্ম ভালো বুঝছি, না আমরা দুনিয়াবি কাজগুলো ঠিকভাবে করছি।

শেষকথা

আমার জানামতে জাপানের আরো বেশ কিছু বৈশিষ্ট্য রয়েছে যেগুলো শুনলে আপনারা চমকে যাবেন। যেমন তারা সামনের দিকে কেন ঝুঁকে হাটে, কিংবা কারো প্রতি অন্যায় হয়ে গেলে নিজেকে অপরাধী মনে করে নিজের জীবন বিসর্জন দিতেও কার্পন্য বোধ করে না। এ বিষয়গুলো নিয়ে অন্য একদিন কথা বলবো তবে আজকে যে তিনটি গুণের কথা বললাম সে তিনটি গুণের জন্য মাঝে মাঝে মনে হয় জাপান চলে যাই। পরিষ্কার পরিচ্ছন্ন পরিশ্রমিক ও নিখুঁত একটি জীবন অতিবাহিত করি। সবাই ভাল থাকবেন।

Intro

We all know that Japan is one of the most developed countries in Asia. We have a lot of stories about Japan. Almost all of it is true. In their position as a nation, Japan has shown that they are one of the best nations in the world. There are some stigmas of the war in Japan before World War II. But after the deadly attack of World War II, Japan did not get involved in any war. Absolutely keeping friends with every nation in general, has only worked for self-improvement and developing of moral standards. As a result, Japan has once again become one of the world's superpowers. The hard work, concentration and effort of the people of a country to improve their situation even after such a big blow in the Second World War is commendable. The Japanese are far above moral standards. Today I will talk about some of the three qualities that I like very much from Japanise.

Hardworking

I think the only thing comparing the Japanese as a hardworking nation is themselves. Because we know that people in Japan work 16 hours and more than that. Many developed countries, including Europe and America, are not as hardworking as the Japanese. Even though Japan is a country under threat of strong earthquakes, they can still benefit from their hard work because of their hardworking mindset. And I think the Japanese have a long life because they work hard. Because I think those who work hard have a lot of immunity in their body. People in Japan take much less time to eat and often eat while walking. They do not want to spend time on unproductive works. In our country, where people have endless time to hang out and hang out in tea shops, it is unthinkable for the people of Japan. They will always be busy with some work and that will definitely be something productive. It is because of Japan's hard work and mentality that today they are a small island state and a much more developed country with the thread of many natural disasters.

Perfect

Another characteristic of the Japanese is that they want to do what they do perfectly. The products that Japan exports to the world are of a much better quality than any other product in the world. The main feature of Japan is that they will never compromise on quality. And quality is a continual improvement that will continue. That means there is no end to it. Improving the process, importing the product or reducing the cost of the product, these tasks they want to continual improve. We have heard the names of various quality improvement techniques including Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing etc and many of which are mainly Japan based.

Clean

Japan is far ahead of any other country in the world in terms of cleanliness. If there is any dirt among them, it must be cleaned. Once some tourists from Japan came to visit the beautiful forest in Sunderban Bangladesh. So they were carrying as many plastic bottles of polythene as they could find in front of them. But it was really embarrassing because even after going far, they could not find any dustbin. In fact, they have grown up in their culture which is about clean but we are far away form that culture. That culture has not developed here. After losing match, cleaning the stadium was a superb work by them which keep them in the heart of World Community.

Where I, we have turned our country into a pile of dirt on the other hand, they have been able to decorate their country in the same way that we arrange our reading table or room inside the house. Although most of the people in our country are Muslims and cleanliness is considered an important part of faith in Islam. In fact, we are far away from religion. We don't understand religion well, nor we are doing materialistic things properly.

Final Words

To my knowledge, Japan has a number of other features that will surprise you. For example, why do they lean forward while walking, or do not feel stingy to give up their lives when they feel guilty about being wronged. I will talk about these issues in another day, but for the three qualities that I have talked about today, I sometimes feel like I have to go to Japan. Let's live a clean, hardworking and perfect life. All will be well.
