This is the view just a bit after sunrise from the kitchen.

This is how we get our late afternoon exercise.

This is what the city prefers, I suppose to letting the plants that usually grow here actually grow. It's better than the bare dirt that comes when they weedwhack the whole think, but miles worse than actually just letting the plants grow when it rains and turn brown when its dry (I hate the way L.A. in general treats bare spaces. It's like whoever hires landscapers doesn't believe that L.A. is as naturally green as it would be)

My California is a lot of indoor time lately, with the cats.

But we do have our plot in the community garden to make as green as we want to!

Our soil isn't wonderful, but we're working on it!
