The beauty of life never fails to awe me. We are created from nothing, a miracle all in itself. Creatio ex nihilo is Latin for "creation out of nothing" and is the belief that matter is not eternal, but, had to be created by some divine creative act. The beginning of life is a true miracle, I have watched countless babies being born, and, the amazingness of it never gets old. I will never feel as if this is just another day in my life.
A profound moment, if there ever was one. The beginning, unfolding, right before my very eyes. I sigh. Each time. I breathe. Despite all of the troubles surrounding the world of today, stop where you are, take a moment and breathe. Look all around you and what do you see? More than likely, those you love the most, in the whole wide world. The one that makes up the you in us, the one that was made for me.

The budding beauty of you, growing, ever-evolving...It is like having an unfinished symphony inside your heart. Every moment is inspired by the thought of another day, another moment in time, and it completes another bar, yet the music continues to be incomplete on any given day, for in your growth the smallest of changes, can be noticed.
Yet, on this day, the full orchestra is playing.
I have to wonder if I would think differently if I was not on a first-name basis with the miracle of birth? Would I have the love, would I have the appreciation of embracing the wonder, the beauty, the profoundness of that moment? I think I can answer my own question, saying that with an open heart, letting love in, and taking the time, the moments to appreciate what is around us, I think I would. So, Stop. Smell the flowers. I am pretty sure you have heard that a time or three, but, unless I actually do it, pieces of my life slip by, I wonder if I barely noticed? Make each moment count for something. Remember always, it is usually those small moments strung together that make up our life.

May there always be a flower to color your world. #alwaysaflower It is always and forever a pleasure to spend time with some of my favorite people that live on the periphery of my day, in the most beautiful way that is possible. There are 87 days 5 hours 28 minutes and 10 seconds before Christmas! As promised, I would try to post a Christmas picture each time I post. In case you are wondering, I already failed!
All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces and start all over again. And again.
It’s my way. I walk out to the deep end of the page and dive right in.

Yep I have learned to put more weight on the little things in life. The big things are generally a let down whereas I get enormous satisfaction for the smallest pleasures ever.
I have always liked the little things best. Stitched together, they are larger than life. For me, the big things aren't a let down so much as they come and go so quickly, whereas the little things are always popping up and usually a very well timed welcome.

I like the thought about creation from nothing- may be there is a similarly about phoenix bird which is reborn after its death from the ash of its bodies! The baby that is consuming the lights of sun from the earth is enourmous beauty ever, i like their small eyes and smile on their faces, try to grab your finger is feeling heaven, almost feel the flower in your hand. You always try to included about Christmas in your post and its also remind a full of joy, happiness and celebrations is ahead. I think you have a wonderful day.
Babies are gifts from heaven. I have to agree with that. I do try to include a Christmas picture in my post for that exact reason, to remind us that there is joy at Christmas, but, that we can experience that every single day.

Thank you, you are so very kind with your words. How can one not be taken with the miracle of life, right? Just so you know, those ducks are Canadian Geese, the bane of the existence of many. :) They are very prolific breeders and they poop all over the place. :)

We have all different colored ducks, and geese too, so I think it makes it harder to detect the difference, but those are definitely Canadian Geese. Their beaks are different and they are bigger than ducks.
You prompted me to look up what "creatio ex nihilo" means, beyond the word-for-word translation that means creation out of nothing, I remember, I learned Latin in school, two or four years, that I don't remember. I see it's a Christian dogma but at the same time, I read that both Christians and Jews and Muslims agree with it. I'm thinking it's the only one thing where they don't disagree!
