The book lay in my lap, not giving me what I was looking for. I want to read the mystery of the season, find the Christmas story and discover its power; attend to the meaning of it all and to the challenges the story poses as to how I live and what I regard as important.
But, I will not rush hastily into it. There is time enough to properly fill my soul. I inhale the beauty of the night, my thoughts wandering.
Perfection cannot really be expressed in words, nor can it really be achieved, This moment feels right, and for the purpose of filling that inner happiness, it is a perfect night for a perfect night. All is calm, all is right.
There are Christmas hymns playing softly in the background, working its way up to booming. You know the words, come on and join in!
I absolutely love the consummate violinist, conductor, and human being, Andre Rieu, best known for creating the waltz-playing Johann Strauss Orchestra. He is so loved by his fans and therefore, me. Share with me, this piece by Andre Rieu, while I close my eyes and let in a little bit of Christmas in my soul.
Most people know intuitively, that the privileges and good things they enjoy in life are gifted to them and that they are meant to be grateful for what they have. May your gracious heart shine throughout the year.
I 💖 you. Oh, yes I do. The Season of Joy. I've said it a hundred times already, but, each time I say it, it's true. Oh, Christmas, you do it every time!
It doesn't usually come wrapped in a box, no ribbon to show and neither a bow. It's hard to describe what it looks like, but, it feels so good, all over, in fact.
As the month turned into weeks, soon it will be merely days. The Christmas countdown is making good time. Officially, there are 12 days, 23 hours, 24 minutes and 12 seconds. I give you the Christmas countdown and one Christmas photo.
All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces and start all over again. And again.
It’s my way. I walk out to the deep end of the page and dive right in.
I dedicate this post to all of you. You bring joy to my soul and spread your love across the world. For this, I thank you. And just like that, these musings are done...and just so you know, although we are throwing glitter around the globe, I can guarantee you that there is still a little left to take us through Christmas. As Lux say in League of Legends: "If you can smile, you can be the light". And this is indeed true. A simple smile can make anyone's life better. And the funny one: "I do not have dark secrets. I have bright ones". I heard this today for the first time, when I played League of Legends: Wild Rift. I literally laughed. No one heard it, because I was alone in my room, and nowadays I am not using voice communication during gaming, and I do not stream my games either. But the sense of humor can really help a lot in life. I often laugh loud during playing League of Legends: Wild Rift.

To me, the idea of perfection is so over rated. Give me "good" on any day or night and I am satisfied. With these complex philosophical questions, I look to the masters, like Kris Kristofferson who gave us the brilliant:

Our solar inverter actually blew so we are by candlelight and having to get the unit fixed. Kiddos think it's fun but after a while I don't think it will be too fun.
