Paddon revealed Hyundai Kona EV Rally Car

Hi, friends!

Kiwi Hayden Paddon is ex-works Hyundai driver but he got booted at the end of season 2018. From then he is driving almost only national championship of New Zealand but he tried to get back into the World Rally Championship with M-Sport Ford when trying to rent their Ford Fiesta WRC.

He got big shunt on the test and there was nothing from that rally in Finland but he rented their R5 rally car for WRC Rally Wales where he finished only 38th overall but in the early stages of the rally he was 14th against the WRC machinery.

And that was it. We know how this season ends and he can only think about the next 2021 season.

During the lockdown he was developing Hyundai Kona EV Rally Car. It is an electric car capable of battle against strong gasoline engines.

Car still doesn't have some rally outings but I guess he will try something in 2021.

Green is coming into the motorsport and this is pretty normal at this stage of automotive evolution.
