Ostberg to enter another WRC2 season with Citroen??

It is almost 100% sure that Norwegian Mads Ostberg will enter another season in the step down from the top category with Citroen Racing. Well, he developed their C3 R5 rally car in the last three years and now he is still developing a new Rally2 model so it would be logically that he will do another season with them to prove that car is worth of their collaboration.

It seems that WRC2 category is a good ground for a expats from the top WRC1 category but it is not by their will that they are in the sub-category.

Sometimes the lack of results or seats will put a top driver in the hunt for anything that is available without paying to drive.

Drivers should be paid to drive and not paying for their drive.

What kind of professionalism is that if you must pay for a drive and you are a top driver with WRC win/wins?! This is just not good for the sport if you have to give your own money at the top to drive.

At the moment it is unknown what is the first rally for Mads in 2021 but it should be Monte Carlo or potential snow event in Finland at the end of February.

Mads loves snow so any of these two shall suit him good...
