MotoGP champion Morbidelli to enter WRC Monza Rally 2020

Hi, friends!

Newly crowned MotoGP champion Franco Morbidelli likes the rallying, just like his mentor Valentino Rossi who brought him through his Academy to the top of the MotoGP sport.

I don't follow MotoGP that much but all almost all my friends are bikers so they do. And when I am in their company we watch MotoGP races.

I like all the attempts Valentino Rossi had in rallying. I follow him in WRC from the early starts when he drove Wales Rally with Peugeot 206 WRC but retired early in the ditch.

It is always interesting to see how will circuit driver/rider do on the rallying road because it is not the same to drive in the circle whole race and to drive through the forest on full speed listening to your co-driver notes he delivers.

Morbidelli had a chance to be in a co-driver's seat this season on one of the Italian events and it was with Hyundai and the driver was Dani Sordo. Sordo always finishes the rallies and that's why he is in WRC for about 15 years now.

It seems that Franco liked the drive of Dani Sordo because now he wants to drive a rally car by himself.

So he will drive Hyundai i20 R5 in Monza and it could be interesting to see if he can do better then Rossi because won there more then once.

Let the best win (the class) - as always...
