Marczyk fastest at qualifying stage for Rally Islas Canarias 2020

Hi, friends!

Miko Marczyk showed again that he has some speed in his hands but only on the shorter special stages like this qualifying stage for Rally Islas Canarias in Spain.

It is really good to have some rallies at all in this terrible time with lockdown all around the world.

Organizers are doing all they can just to have a championship done for this season which is much shorter then usually because of all the cancelled events.

Here we also have a battle for the European Rally Championship crown between Alexey Lukyanuk who drives Citroen C3 R5 and Oliver Solberg who will be behind a wheel of his family's private Volkswagen Polo R5.

They were all testing and the news are that Lukyanuk is having again his old co-driver Alexey Arnautov who was beside him when they won their 2018 ERC crown.

So Marczyk was fastest in his Škoda Fabia Rally2, Craig Breen was 2nd fastest for Hyundai while Jose Suarez was 3rd with another Škoda Fabia Rally2.

Oliver Solberg was only 8th fastes while Lukyanuk finished only 34th.
