Norwegian Andreas Mikkelsen had his biggest successes with VAG brand and that's Volkswagen and Škoda cars.
He won Intercontinental Rally Challenge before it became European Rally Championship and he did it twice, both times with Škoda.
Later he signed for Volkswagen and scored three WRC wins and that is not an easy thing to do.
After Hyundai and Citroen stint, he is now free driver and he can drive for whoever he wants. But there is a problem because there are no available seats at the moment in the World Rally Championship so he has to look for another option.
And it finally came after testing for Pirelli, he will drive a private Škoda Fabia R5 (Škoda works team isn't involved in competition this year so they cooperate with the private outfits).
His first rally in 2020 will be the next station of ERC called Rally Hungary, very tough rally on tarmac but with lots of mud and water if it will be raining.
Let the best win - as always...
