BREAKING NEWS: Arctic Rally included in WRC 2021 calendar

Hi, friends!

I wrote a month ago that Rally Sweden was dropped from WRC calendar because of the coronavirus pandemic and financial crises because of the same problem.

It is not an easy job to organize WRC event. You need around 2m€ and paper guaranties from your Government that everything will be provided what promoter needs.

Rally Sweden was always called a snow rally and it was the only pure snow event in the calendar. But, as we saw last season, snow was missing in Sweden and it was called iced gravel rally without snow.

This year we will have Arctic Rally Finland as a replacement for Swedish event.

It will be based in city called Rovaniemi, from 26-28 February. Don't forget that temperatures in that area can go to -30 degrees Celsius in February.

So this season we will have to Finnish event, one in winter and one in the summer.

It could be an interesting season after all we had in 2020. It won't be easy because we are in the middle of the battle with coronavirus pandemic and the human lives should be in the first place.
